PU Model Board - CSM Only DescriptionPolyurethane (PU) model board, also known as tooling board, is available in a thickness of 50mm. This product is used for CNC milling and is more stable, accurate and free cutting than natural wood based materials. Thicker designs can be made from several layers glued together. The orange board has a density of 240kg per cubic metre and is the best choice for general purpose use. The brown board has a density of 600kg per cubic metre and is a better choice if the finished object will be detailed to a fine and smooth surface finish. This product is for CSM Digital Fabrication Bureau only. Attend your CNC milling appointment before purchasing. During your appointment the technician will discuss materials, confirm availability and send you an email with the details of what to pay for.
