DescriptionJoin this exciting day of making and research at Bedgebury Pinetum in Kent. We will be making spaces and objects with willow and green woodworking techniques. For Foundation students this exploration will inform the development of your Unit 3 projects. The outcomes will feed into tPublic Engagement design development for the Pinetum. This workshop will be led by tutors from UAL Foundation, School of Pre Degree Studies and CSM and Forestry England. This is a great opportunity to learn how work in with these sustainable materials and processes and further engage with Bedgebury and Forestry England. Getting there To take the Coach meet at North Greenwich Underground station between 8.30am on Monday 16th March 2026 - you must be on time.

What to Bring You must bring a packed lunch and dress with warm practical clothing to cover all weathers, thick waterproof coat, work gloves, hat, practical (ideally waterproof) footwear, thick trousers and jumpers with thermal under-layers. Please bring a Sketchbook, drawing materials and making plus any additional materials specified by your tutors.
