This catalogue accompanies the exhibition Chanel: A New Portrait for Marion Pike curated by Amy de la Haye, Professor of Dress History and Curatorship at London College of Fashion.  The book includes biographical and historical writings about Marion Pike and Chanel by the curator, as well as art historical readings of these rarely seen paintings written by Benjamin Whyman.  It also contains a personal memoir written by the artist's daughter Jeffie Pike Durham about her first meeting with Chanel.
