Also known as  'line guage' or 'typescale' this ruler is a useful tool for letterpress typesetters and printers, when measuring larger sizes of type or areas of typesetting. They are no longer made, so are hard to find and have become highly sought after in recent times. This item has been newly designed and manufactured by the CSM Letterpress Workshop and is based on a traditional design which has a useful hook on one end and measures up to 72 pica. It is made from 3mm MDF, varnished white, so is sturdy and easy to read without being too expensive.
