Sil-Poxy Silicone Adhesive **CSM Students Only** Description*Do not purchase materials without consulting the technician first, stocks may vary and are not guaranteed* Sil-Poxy is a one component adhesive made specifically for bonding RTV silicone rubber to silicone rubber and other substrates including some plastics (urethane), plasters/ceramics, fabrics, etc. Sil-Poxy will work with tin- or platinum-cure silicones and provides a strong, flexible bond between silicone parts with high elongation. Can be coloured with silicone pigments. Cured adhesive resists weathering, moisture, UV and high temperatures. Sil-Poxy can be used for repairing torn silicone rubber moulds. Other applications include bonding silicone for prosthetics and animatronics - Materials can only be purchased from eStore by CSM students, on the day of their booking, to be used in the casting workshop at L008. - Students are not permitted to purchase materials from eStore for use outside of the workshop. - Technicians should be consulted before purchasing materials from the eStore. - Please show proof of purchase receipt to the technicians before collecting the purchased materials.
