Course Description

Our evening language courses are built around an arts and culture context. You will explore a variety of topics including architecture, cuisine, culture, design, fashion, society and more.

Over the 8 weeks of the Spanish Beginner course you will be introduced to asking for and providing personal information by recognising and using simple words and phrases concerning you and your immediate surroundings.
Lessons include reading and listening tasks introducing common names, words and simple sentences in texts. You will use these to write short texts on the topics above and participate in role-plays to improve your ability to interact and express yourself.
The course will examine a selection of key grammar points: the gender of nouns, word order of nouns and adjectives, present verb forms and conjugations. There is a focus on the programme on oral communication and pronuncation as well as using the language for functional and practical purposes.

The maximum number of students attending each class is 15.
