Course Description

Our evening language courses are built around an arts and culture context. You will explore a variety of topics including architecture, cuisine, culture, design, fashion, society and more.

Over the 8 weeks of the Italian Pre-Intermediate course, you will learn how to talk about your daily life and follow recipes as well as developing the language tools you might need to be out and about in the city. You will learn to compare and contrast different aspects of arts and culture as well as making and receiving informal phonecalls. Some of the key language points you can expect to be exposed to are: tenses, reflexive verbs,  past participles, the continuous form and indirect pronouns.  Emphasis is on spoken communication and pronunciation and interaction and pronunciation; this is achieved through pair and group work and role-plays.
